EAW

In my first year applying to Eddie Adams, I didn't get in. At first I was a bit sad but now I am ok with it, I can, and will try again next year with an entirely new portfolio.

I love my job, the people I meet everyday, and in these very difficult times I understand just how lucky I am to have a job as a photojournalist. I hear people complaining constantly about what they don't have, how much the company provided pens suck, and a bunch of other crap that in the grand scheme of things really don't matter.

The way I see it right now, I have a roof over my head, food in the fridge, a little extra cash for fun, people in my life who love me, and the amazing job of witnessing the world unfold.I have done my share of negative talk, complaining, and even some whining, but all that accomplishes is to poison my own heart and mind. So for now I am thinking positively, opening my heart, learning, evolving, and hopefully everyday I will become a better photographer, and more importantly a better person.

Damn, you left no room to argue! Just kidding. I agree. Life is what YOU make of it.
