Mac, 8, looks to Camp Sunshine counselor Melonie Adams, not pictured, as he listenes to Melonie explain why it is important to be kind to his sister. Mac's mom left, his dad committed suicide, and now his grandmother, who helps care for him and his sister is dying of cancer.
Camp Sunshine, currently in its 12th year offers bereavment support to children suffering from the loss of a family member or friend.
