First Local Food Page

As an idea to help connect local growers with our readers, I came up with the idea of turning our food page, which has generally run all AP or MG art, into a local page featuring at least one item locally produced. My first page was on strawberries from Cottle Farms here in Florence. I created the recipes, shopped, cooked, and shot it at my house. It was great fun and I'm hopeful, that over time, it will bring new readers to the paper. In the future the page will focus more on the farmers and producers, what they do, and how local farming benefits the entire community.
