my Mom turned 60 on Saturday... So my sister Madeline, my cousin Kate, and I tossed a party for 50 of her closest friends and family. My mother, who raised us by herself, never stops amazing me.

no not my dinner.. this gem builds its web perfectly in front of my front door every night.. so every morning I walk right through the web.. I hate that icky, nasty stuck feeling.. not today though, I remembered, ducked under the web... and made it safely into my house.

Fridays from now until ...
