This one is from a Fellowship BBQ. They have a cookout the last Friday of each month with free food and live music for all community members. I couldn't help but wonder how many of these children would not have had dinner otherwise. I don't usually post personal commentary here but this assignment really got me thinking. The Fellowship that runs these cookouts goes into a less than ideal neighborhood with their church vans and picks up the children, some as young as 2 years old. Where are their parents??

Shot my first baseball game in two weeks last night.. I kind of missed these guys. I feel like I spent a very large part of my summer on the ball field. I will miss it when it's over...

The Rowan Legion baseball team asked me to shoot the team photo, so I went down on my day off, once finished with the team photo I kept shooting, here's an "after" shot.

I was, for the first time, a bit bored at the office this afternoon. My 4 pm got cancelled so with storm clouds rolling in I headed to the ball park to see what was going on... here's one from the delay. Then I got called to a wreck.. I like think I would have gotton better rain dely stuff if I had stuck around.. get there early, stay late kinda thing...
