this was the fifth and last year that the Smoke Out will be held in Salsibury.. there have been issues with the party. I spent several hours there Saturday afternoon here are a few safe for newspaper publication. I 'll post the "non safe" to the other blog...

6/1 Flotilla

Communities is Schools of Rowan County held their 5th annual Flotilla today. The paper wasn't going to be able to cover it so I did it on my day off. I started the day with the Red Hat ladies as they decorated their boat for the parade. I finished the day with a ride around the lake in the parade with the ladies. Great way to spend a working day off.

5/31 Working on sports..

I am tring to get timing down at baseball, also have been talking to the sports editor about doing something different every once in a while, this is just an idea for a great play in the future, if I get a great play..
